Give my BMW 3 a fresh new look!

Here’s my situation: I have a 2016 BMW 3 series (in that boring silver everyone seems to have), and I’ve been wanting to give it a fresh look without going all in on a paint job. The plan is to wrap the whole car, but I’m stuck on a few things:

I live in a city where weather changes like every 5 minutes. Hot summers, cold winters, rain one minute and sunshine the next. I need something that can actually withstand these extremes and not start peeling after the first year.

Now, I’m no pro at this, but I plan on doing it myself. I’ve watched like a hundred YouTube videos on how to apply wraps, but I want to make sure I get something that’s easy to work with, stretches well, and doesn’t bubble up too much. Any recommendations from those who’ve done it?

I’m torn between matte and gloss. I’ve seen some matte black finishes on cars that look absolutely stunning, but part of me also loves that glossy shine. My car’s got a lot of curves, and I feel like a glossy finish might bring them out better, but then again, matte is so sleek and subtle.

I don’t want something that fades after a year or two. Is there a particular brand or material I should look for to avoid this? I’ve heard some people say cheap vinyl can fade or even turn yellowish in the sun (and that’s the last thing I want on my car). I’ve been eyeing some vinyl wraps from different shops, but I came across this site https://www.vinylcutter.eu/ and I’m wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them? Their selection seems pretty decent, and the prices look reasonable, but you never really know until you hear from someone who's actually used the product.
Also, for anyone who’s done this before—did you run into any unexpected problems or things you wished you’d known beforehand? I’d love to hear your experiences, especially if you’ve wrapped a car by yourself.

Lastly, I’m kind of debating whether I should wrap just the exterior or also do some interior panels for that extra pop. I’ve seen some people do their dashboards or door trims, and it looks pretty cool. But does it hold up inside with all the wear and tear? Is it even worth it, or am I just overcomplicating things?

Any advice would be super appreciated! I’m not in a huge rush, but I’d love to get this done before winter hits so I can drive around with my new look before the snow comes (and probably ruins everything anyway 😂).

Thanks in advance! Hope someone out there has gone through this and can offer some tips or even some horror stories so I know what to avoid!
