Looking for devs to build a custom crypto wallet - where to start?

Hello everyone. I'm working on a project that needs its own crypto wallet, multi-currency support and solid security since it'll be handling real funds. This is way beyond my technical knowledge and I'm nervous about picking the wrong team for something this sensitive. Has anyone actually had a wallet built by professionals?
